Romantic Rooftop Wedding at The Balcony Orlando

Crafting Sofia and Randy’s ceremony and cocktail hour music at The Balcony Orlando honored our core purpose: transforming iconic songs into intimate moments. Their song selections for the day spanned from the early classical music of Handel to modern pop songs loved by all. As one of their special requests during the prelude, we performed "My Heart Will Go On" from the movie Titanic. As you can probably hear in the video to the right, it was a particularly windy evening as the sun set in downtown Orlando, and the expanse of the skyline felt like the expanse of the ocean--a perfect fit for this song! (Good thing we were prepared for the wind and didn't have tons of loose sheet music flying around!)
The music for Sofia's entrance was the classic favorite, Canon in D by Pachelbel. As Sofia walked down the aisle, the music wrapped around the moment—simple, heartfelt, and full of quiet joy. From The Balcony’s rooftop, Orlando’s skyline shimmered in the evening light, the city’s glow blending with the breeze as they exchanged vows.​ For the cocktail hour, we played an almost entirely modern pop music set with highlights from artists like Ed Sheeran, Adele, and Coldplay.​ This juxtaposition of classical and modern music is what we do best. We were honored to be part of their celebration. Days like Sofia and Randy’s remind us how live strings can help transform moments into lasting memories. What a pleasure!
